How can my dog get along w/ my newborn child?

Since you have other children in the family, the baby might not be as big a problem. You would be surprised how some dogs know that they need to be gentle with a little baby.
I am sure everything will be fine as long as you always, always have adult supervision when both are in the room. I would also avoid letting the dog be in the room when the baby is on the floor or feeding.

dogs are very perseptive of things going on..since you have other children the dog should be fine..the dog will most likely be pretty protective of the baby and the mother while she is pregnant..i wouldn’t worry too much about it..she will do just fine..since she probably doesn’t get all the attention right now, another person will just be a somewhat interest to her..
